As a global cybersecurity company, we are constantly striving to provide a better service for our clients. We are happy to report that our Digital Forensics and Incident Response portfolio has recently expanded into the Asia-Pacific region.

Having opened our doors as a Digital Forensics specialist in 2009, we have organically grown the Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) practice to the point where a global coverage has been achieved.

As an official PCI Forensics Investigator (PFI) company, we are bringing our state-of-the-art Managed Detection and Response and First Responder capabilities to the Asia-Pacific market. This move allows for the local market to benefit from the world-class services that are being consumed by all other regions of the world, as well as a number of global organisations.

Modern criminals are running new and complex attacks to breach businesses. Our Managed Detection and Response service has been rolled out to detect and contain threats quickly. Typical software (unless finely tuned and maintained) can lead to a flood of false positives resulting in delays to understanding real threats.

The Managed service combines the skills of our Threat Intelligence Team & Serengeti (our threat hunting technology) to detect attacks that typically evade detection by industry-standard cybersecurity solutions.

Raymond Simpson, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, says Asia-Pacific will be a hot-spot for cybercrime over the next few years.

“For many years, this part of the world has had it fairly good in terms of being the target of cyber-attacks. With the increase in the footprint of credit cards and Fintech solutions, the threat landscape is changing significantly, and companies are quite simply not prepared for the attacks that they’re in all likelihood already experiencing, yet may not even be aware of.”

Dan Ball, APAC Territory Manager provides some more insight into the area of Managed Detection & Response services.

“Attacks in this day and age are more complex than ever and often undetected by traditional, signature-based detection methods.   Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services hunt for suspicious behaviour and indicators of compromise (IoCs) to detect and contain even the latest, unknown threats.  At Foregenix we are one of the few security vendors globally who develop our own Detection & Response technology AND manage it as a service through our own Threat Intelligence Group. With a global team of First Responders, including feet on the ground in Asia-Pacific, we are proud to bring our Managed Detection & Response service to this region”
