Foregenix Achieve 11 Award Nominations in 6 Months

,11/09/17 13:04

As a UK-based cybersecurity firm, our employees and clients touch every continent on the globe. Despite the company’s small size, with only 91 employees, Foregenix continues to push the envelope. In fact, at the beginning of 2017 Foregenix were named amongst the top fastest growing exporters in the UK by The Times. Since then, Foregenix has achieved an additional 11 award nominations.

Last week hailed the most recent nomination for ‘Security innovation of the year’ – delivered by the UK IT Industry Awards, the biggest IT awards in the country. Dubbed “The benchmark for outstanding performance throughout the UK computer industry.” According to their website, “The awards focus on the contribution of individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT in the past 12 months.”

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, great service, and teams of highly experienced professionals, Foregenix are experiencing rapid growth and delivering great results for clients. This combination has caught the eye of multiple award institutions from across the country.

We have been closely involved with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) since 2004, with our CEO, Andrew Henwood, being closely linked to the creation of the PCI DSS as we see it today. Since its inception, there have been assessments, penetration tests, digital forensic investigations and more carried out on hundreds of organisations.

FGX-Web has been the focus of attention for the retail risk awards. The security solution sits on your website, preventing and detecting malicious traffic, malware and threats. Alongside a web application firewall, it also offers cutting edge scanning technology to detect a website breach and log any file changes made to your website by outside sources.

The user-friendly and informative solution provides in-depth cyber security reporting on the inner workings of a website. Understanding what’s going on within your website is key to keeping your online business protected.

This innovation is leading the way within a massively growing cybersecurity sector. In 2004, the industry was valued at 3.5 billion dollars. Fast forward to today and the market has exploded, with the predicted value set to reach as much as 175 billion dollars by the end of this year alone.

It will come as no surprise to learn that an industry growing this quickly is providing so much innovation. As quickly as hackers and cyber criminals can come up with new ways to breach our devices, we are creating new means to stop them. The internet has become a dangerous virtual world and we are combatting it with baked-in security to keep people's data safe.

We understand how complex and frustrating securing your environment can be, which is why we are here to help and guide you through the process. Our experience is the foundation of our services, designed to assist our customers in improving their security. Contact one of our team if you'd like to discuss how we can help.
