Foregenix has further expanded their APAC presence with the addition of Dan Ball to the team as a Territory Manager in Australia, with responsibilities for sales and marketing in APAC. We branched out into Australia in 2017, headed up by Ray Simpson, Regional Director.
Dan brings with him 10+ years experience in helping organisations with their cyber security, risk & compliance strategies. Dan is excited to help further build the increasing Foregenix reputation in the region. We spoke to Dan about his motivation for joining us:
“In this day and age the word ‘cyber’ is such a buzz term and with it, scaremongering on the threat landscape is rife. Some organisations, particularly smaller ones, struggle to understand the reality of the threat and associated risk as it applies to their own individual organization. I joined Foregenix because I see the great deal of care, personability and flexibility that they uniquely afford each and every client and partner. Those are values which are also important to me and I look forward to putting into action at Foregenix, whilst we strive to help simplify our clients security, risk & compliance strategies”. The Foregenix Australian team continues to go from strength to strength and Dan’s appointment adds to fellow new(ish) recruits brought on in 2017, Ray Simpson, Regional Director (CISSP, PCI QSA, CRISC) and Corey Kelly, Senior Information Security Analyst (CISSP, PCI QSA), who between them have 32 years experience in the industry.
