The event was very well attended and it was great to meet up with our clients and partners in the UAE.  PCI is definitely a hot topic in the UAE, shown by the levels of interest in the presentation line-up and in the numbers of enquiries we received at our stand.  Cardholder Data Discovery is definitely being seen a key step in the process of becoming and maintaining PCI DSS Compliance, as evidenced by the types of questions we received about our FScout solution.

In addition to Cardholder Data Discovery (otherwise known as PCI Discovery), we had a noticeable increase in the numbers of enquiries regarding our forensic capabilities and incident response services, which shows that the level of awareness of the risks surrounding cardholder data are filtering through to businesses in the UAE. With the recent media focus on the Global Payments data compromise in the US, it seems that many of the larger multi-national businesses have been updating and revising their Incident Response Plans and focussing their efforts on reducing their cardholder data footprint and risk across their businesses.

All in all, the PCI Dubai event was very well attended and we would like to say thank you to AKJ Associates for putting it together.
